Vancouver Fashion Jobs – The Mod Squad

What’s black, white and fabulous all over? Why the mod look, of course! Twiggy, Edie, Mary Quant – these were the style icons of an era in which the style was mainly black, white and micro-mini, to say the least. Think clean cuts with bold impact, color blocking, shift dresses and variety in texture. Complete the look with a dramatically lined eye for the perfect doe-eyed, feminine finish. If you haven’t yet, try geisha ink – it won’t budge, has intense pigment, and will without a doubt give you the flawless 60s feel. This is a great trend to introduce to your look, and as we all have black and white in our wardrobe, let’s bring it up to date with a little mod throwback, the perfect fashion contradiction for the season.
