Montreal Fashion Jobs – Femme Floral

Since Dolce and Gabbana introduced the elegant, minimalistic floral crown headbands on their Fall 2012 runway, a whole new emergence of headpieces followed. I never would have imagined walking down the streets and seeing people casually wear these large bold floral crowns as a fashion accessory. To me, I’ve always seen them as a delicate and fantastical costume piece. Now it can be found on the streets, designer runways and even on celebrities walking the carpet.

Doing what floral does best, this bold statement piece brings out the femininity and delicacy of an outfit, while giving a pop of spring colour. When wearing this headpiece, try pairing your outfit with the colour of the flowers to give an overall harmonious look. Rather than wearing pants, pick out a nice flowing, lightweight dress. Adding details such as lace and frills just further emphasizes the femininity and elegance of the outfit. Perfect for casual days out in the sun at the park or festivals, this floral adornment has paved its way in fashion and become a staple Spring piece.
