Canada Fashion Jobs – Dress for Success

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

Today Style Nine to Five owner, Christie Lohr, featured Dress for Success on City TV’s Breakfast Television. She talked about how to dress for work or an interview on a budget and each look was created from Dress for Success donations.

This non-profit organization helps economically disadvantaged women in the Lower Mainland get a job and keep it by providing professional attire, a network of support as well as career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Vancouver has recently created a monthly donor program called “Help One Woman” which is a monthly donation of just $12.50 per month (or one time annual donation of $150) that will allow one woman access to all four of Dress for Success Vancouver’s programs.

Sign up to be a monthly donor by visiting www.supportdfsvan.org.

You can learn more about each of the programs Dress for Success Vancouver offers by finding them on Facebook and Twitter (@DFSVancouver). Can also visit their website www.dressforsuccess.org/vancouver
