Location: Kits location

Compensation: $65K + 1% commission

Summary of the Role:

The Assistant Manager is a skilled and experienced professional responsible for
overseeing all aspects of store operations with support from the General Manager.
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, selling on
the floor and supporting sales team members with ongoing coaching, development
& leadership. The Assistant Manager is the “right hand” to the GM.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management:
● Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
● Understands and executes the GM’s vision for the store, based on key metrics and initiatives
● Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
● Build a strong and diverse team that includes team members with various experiences, backgrounds, and skill sets to drive store operations.
● Supports store hiring as needed.
● Support ongoing learning and development of all store team members consistently and equitably by providing direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, and career path guidance, and addressing performance concerns.
● Engage in career discussions to support and reinforce team understanding of how working at Mine & Yours will contribute to career and personal growth.
● Provide team member recognition, gap assessment, and overall performance documentation to support and reinforce the career and personal growth of your team.
● Plan and prepare team member schedules according to labour requirements, availability, and budget considerations as needed.
● Address all employee relations issues, including knowing when to partner with HR to take appropriate action.
● Responsible for hiring, developing and selecting the up and coming leaders that will support with running the store. Clear Pipeline in place
● Responsible for developing the Sales teams Product Knowledge
● Support with Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and product knowledge.
Client Experience
● Create and maintain a luxurious and welcoming in-store environment for
clients.
● Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by setting high standards
and training the sales team accordingly.
● Support the GM in the creation of strategies to enhance client engagement,
build lasting relationships, and increase customer loyalty.
● Responsible for identifying ways to engage with VIP sellers & Clients, recommending local events, groups and ideas to ensure we’re building our brand in the community.
● Monitor customer feedback, address concerns promptly, and seek opportunities for improvement.
● Leads by example, selling on the floor to our clients
Working with Others:
● Clear communication & works collaboratively with other teams. Lives “Hustle Together” and demonstrates that we’ll win as a team
Operations:
● Oversee day-to-day store operations, visual merchandising, and store maintenance in absence of GM.
● Supports with store events
● Ensure Operational process is followed & identifies areas where the sales team needs more training or support
● Collaborate with the buying team to curate a diverse and high-quality product assortment that aligns with customer preferences.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Budget
● Supports the GM in the management of the store budget, including sales targets, expenses, and profitability.
● Supports the GM with annual sales goals which are filtered to the team by quarter and month. Familiar with the Sales team’s individual goals and supports them with coaching/ideas to hit their goals.
● Identify opportunities to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall financial performance.
● Works with GM to achieve or exceed budgeted goals and objectives.
