Canadian women's wear brand looking for a creative and tech-savvy marketing/social media intern to keep our online presence updated with new content. We need someone who can regularly post content on our blog and keep our online store updated with new products. You should be knowledgeable and passionate about fashion, style, and trends, while understanding the image and goals of our brand. You must also have the technical skills to use Wordpress, and potentially possess some understanding of web design and/or graphic design to format blog posts, upload content, etc. This position is perfect for someone who is creative and willing to take initiative in coming up with engaging content online (you can be as creative as you like - we have photography equipment here and computers with Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) Preference will be given to individuals that need an internship placement as a requirement for graduation from university or college. Responsibilities Include: • Day-to-day maintenance of blogs and social media • Respond to and interact with visitors and other blogs • Develop new marketing strategies and campaigns to increase online traffic • Update online store with new products and descriptions • Organize mini photoshoots for online lookbooks • If you have Photography, Graphic Design, or Web Design skills please mention this in your resume, as this would be a definite asset. We are looking to hire ASAP, we are flexible with scheduling (within Mon-Fri 9-5). This is an unpaid internship position. Our showroom is located at Dufferin and Wingold, in the heart of the Toronto's Wholesale Fashion district.
