In December 2008, Malene opened the doors to her studio boutique in the historic Dominion Building in Gastown, Vancouver. The studio boutique has quickly become a fashion oasis for clients, experiencing the true essence of the Malene Grotrian brand – creating inner confidence and beauty in women by embracing every shape, size and style. Collections are inspired by a timeless, unique, European influence and focus on versatility within each piece. All designs are sophisticated and created with femininity, unexpected detail, and elegance in mind and each garment is manufactured locally in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Internship Details:
This is an unpaid Internship for 1-2 days/ week (can be for a 1-12 month period). Sewing experience and a strong attention to detail is a requirement. Your will gain experience in:
• hand sewing
• cutting
• pattern making
• fashion show planning
• dressing models
• production planning
• merchandising
• etc
We are looking for an ambitious team player who is eager learn and expand their skill set.
Must be able to start as soon as possible
