Overview
Under the direction of the Studio Producer, the Ecommerce Stylist will style all clothing, shoes, bags and accessories for our ecommerce product shoots, as well as assist Producer on any look books, editorials and collection shoots, under direction of Creative Director. The stylist is responsible for preparing and organizing all samples and collections prior to and after photo shoots, as well as maintaining the SKU lists during the shoots. The Stylist will control the flow of goods into and out of the studio and work with the Producer to ensure talent booking coordinates with sample flow. This person will ensure brand consistency across projects and adhere to ecommerce image guidelines and standards..
Responsibilities include:
•Work with Ecommerce Sample Coordinator to label and organize all ecommerce samples for our in-house photography studio.
•Responsible for the organization of all ecommerce product and clothing samples as well as the flow of goods into and out of the studio.
•Prepare all samples for photography. Identify items that require detail shots and items that will be colour-swatched in post-production.
•Ecommerce product styling: Assisting photographer by styling shoes, bags, and accessories.
•Ecommerce clothing styling: Working with on-set talent on individual clothing shots as well as head-to-toe looks. Looks will be under direction of Producer working with styling direction by Creative Director.
•Style items for special projects including PR shoots and internal communications documents.
•Record SKUs of every item shot.
•Manage and organize sample closet, with direct contact with buying and design teams. Keep all styling samples up to date and within seasonal trends.
Successful Candidate Profile includes:
•Degree in fashion or in a related field.
•1-2 years relevant experience in the fashion industry, demonstrated by a strong portfolio
•Love for fashion and strong project management skills
•Experience working as a stylist for a fashion magazine, an asset
•Keen attention to detail and experience in a deadline-driven workplace
•Ability to work in a fast pace environment
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, an asset
