Do you aspire to work in digital publishing and have a passion for stylish living? Do you love to shop online and explore your creativity through writing?
Framework Magazine is looking for a highly motivated Editorial Intern who has a strong interest in fashion, design, entertaining, and culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
•assist with development of editorial calendar for the Framework blog as well as monthly magazine
•contribute to content for blog and monthly issues
•create imagery for blog content (ie. Product roundups)
•trend and product research
•create copy for blog and social media channels
•communicate with monthly contributors and interviewees
•develop inspiration boards for features and photoshoots
QUALIFICATIONS:
•highly motivated and have a desire to learn all aspects of digital publishing
•able to work independently
•identify with Framework’s brand culture, aesthetic, and reader
•have excellent writing, composition, grammar, and proofreading skills
•experienced with blog and article writing, twitter, facebook pages, and pinterest
•have a love for social media and meeting new, inspiring people
•keep up to date with trends and happenings in and around the city
•are organized, able to meet deadlines, and committed
•have an eye for detail and a positive attitude
•familiar with Adobe photoshop (not required but a definite bonus!)
•live in or near Vancouver and are able to travel to our office (70th & Granville St)
•have your own laptop
