JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking keen and aspiring individuals to be a Event Planning Representative for Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW). Established over a decade ago, VFW has grown to become the most important fashion event on the West Coast. Taking place in September 2012, we are in the midst of preparations for the next fashion week and positions are available for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Week. Vancouver Fashion Week is an organization that is committed to its employees, and dedicated in growing and improving in every organizational aspect.

Event Planning Representative will have an opportunity to undertake tasks from social media, administrative work, promotions, public relations, special projects planning, marketing, designer scouting to general office work for Vancouver Fashion Week.


The ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

•Ability to meet strict deadlines
•Excellent leadership abilities
•Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
•Strong desire to be an active part of a dynamic, fast-paced work environment


HOURS PER WEEK
Full-time or Part-time

LOCATION
Downtown Vancouver office in 873 Beatty Street
