Intern needed:
Fashion agency and wholesale distributor looking for interns to assist in August-November season. Skout agency represents fashion forward clothing and accessory lines from all over the world. We specifically look for products that are functional, commercial and of course very fashionable. Our clothing, footwear and handbag lines range from junior to contemporary.
We are agents and distributors for over 25 lines including Covet, Pink Stitch, Colcci, Chaser, Funktional and Monkee Genes. We thrive because our tight team works hard and therefore creates much success for Skout. At Skout you will experience what it is like to be a part of a multi label agency and distribution company. You will experience:
•Assisting agents in managing their samples (i.e. steaming, pricing and organizing).
•Merchandising will be a big part as we have a lot lines which need to be merchandised often.
•Everyday office duties including, faxing, answering phones .
•Assist office manager with accounts receivables, data entry .
•Distribution, including shipping and receiving.
•Research (including new stores, new lines and anything else that involves the fashion industry).
•Helping organize samples for magazines editorials and web articles .
•As well as finding editorials of our lines and sending them to our customers.
Overall, we are looking for hard working, creative, fashion savvy students that are looking to work with experienced agents and most importantly in a fast paced positive environment.
