Alex Folzi is seeking an intern for Fall/Winter 2012. The right candidate should be available to work 2-4 days a week (9:30am - 5pm). This demanding position with a high level of responsibility requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As an intern in our Vancouver office, you’ll have the benefit of working alongside a small team of young professionals and will have the experience of contributing to larger projects along with standard administrative tasks. You will also be given 40% discount to purchase any of our current products. (The job comes with snacks during lunch break as well)

Intern responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Active on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook
• Active in fashion blogging
• Interacting with bloggers, magazines and social media influencers to boost
brand awareness
• Contribution in updating company website
• Brainstorming creative content to use in social media
•Assist with media relations, press releases,
•Assist in writing blogs, posters, postcards etc.
•Assist with daily retail & online store product upload
•Help organize and attend special/VIP events as needed
•Show initiative in a small business environment
•Have at least four month commitment

Qualifications:
•Excellent writing skills
•Well developed, professional photography skills
•Graduated from a recognized Fashion Program or has a business background
•Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator,
or Equivalent Design Software, MS Word,
•Microsoft Excel, HTML, graphic design, & web layouts
•Adept in using Pinterest, Twitter, Social Media links
•online store and Blogger Dashboards.
•Equipped with own laptop/MacBook/or Ipad.
•Quick learner with proactive attitude, sound judgement and strong problem solving skills
•Previous experience with online marketing and social media is a must
