Job Title: Online Model
Casting calls on June 20th and 23rd. We are specifically looking for locals (Vancouver area), if possible.
We have an exciting year ahead with the launch of our eCommerce site! Aritzia is building a world-class online shopping business, which will enable us to sell clothes and propel our brand seamlessly from our brick-and-mortar stores to the online world. So, of course, we are looking for top talent to join our team! Our mission is to continually deliver a creative and innovative online shopping website that is easy to use and captures the attention of stylish girls everywhere. We’re proud of our product, our people and our stores and we want to bring that same energy to our customers digitally.
For this special new initiative, we are looking for an ONLINE MODEL who will be responsible for modeling all apparel and accessories for Aritzia.com, special events and product meetings in a way that best compliments the item(s). If you are passionate about fashion and the camera loves you, then you are who we want to hear from!
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be present for all eCommerce fittings
• Model for all on-model eCommerce photoshoots
• Model for special events such as fashion week, In store trunk shows, fashion shows
• Be present for Product meetings, as they occur.
• Support the various departments within Styling Department and Product Division to complete administration work when not actively participating in fittings and photoshoots
COMPETENCIES
•Embody Aritzia’s values, principles, priorities and standards
•Maintain personal body measurements within tolerance of Aritzia Standard Size S or 4; Waist size 25 - 27; height minimum 5’7 to 5’10 maximum
•Maintain correct posture and carriage (i.e. photo shoots, events etc.)
•Ability to stand, and actively remain engaged in all shoots and events.
•Background in modeling within the fashion industry and/or eCommerce
•Approachable and receptive to constructive criticism
•Able to work well and motivate as part of a team in a highly pressurized environment
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The role will involve interfacing with:
•Reports to: Senior Styling Director
•Works Closely With: Various staff members from the Photo Studio, Styling and Product Departments
