Qualifications/ Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design
• 2-5 years experience in technical design
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
• Have understanding of Garment construction especially in women’s wear
• Strong knowledge of garment industry and wholesale production routines
• Must communicate well in written and verbal form on a technical level to ensure designs are properly executed in production
• Knowledge of fitting approvals, maintain accurate and detailed information of style documentation
• Able to draw/sketch using Adobe Illustrator.
• Must be organized and take direction well, be strong in communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work independently and in a team setting


Duties: Responsible for women’s wear project
• Execute spec packs for women in various commodities (mostly sweaters)
• Commenting and approving sample production overseas
• Follow up on samples to ensure delivery deadlines are met
• Monitor quality at every stage and complete checks on goods shipped to local distribution center
• Research & prepare collections line boards, technical drawings
• Assist in approvals of color lab dips, yarns, details, handlooms, strikeoffs, knitdowns
• Update current linesheet and large scale collection board
• Organizing and maintain style library, samples, swatch cards
