Toronto Fashion Jobs – Nautical Living

Sunday, April 14th, 2013

There is something about those horizontal stripes that give a feeling of ease, comfort and nautical living. Whether you’re getting ready to head out into the open sea or not, don’t be afraid to add some stripes to your wardrobe. Try drawing some inspiration from the slew of designers that used this pattern in their Spring/Summer 2013 runway shows including Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Ralph Lauren, just to name a few. Though not all the pieces they debuted fall into the nautical category, one thing is clear, this season, stripes have made a huge come back and they’re here to stay.

Vancouver Fashion Jobs – Style from Ireland

Friday, March 8th, 2013

It’s no secret that the United Kingdom is fashion forward and with St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, I can’t help but be curious about the trends being worn in Ireland. Just like Canada, they’re just as excited for warm weather and sunshine as we are! After reading numerous Irish fashion blogs, I’ve narrowed down the major trends they’re talking about: bomber jackets, cropped trousers and mixing black and white prints, sound familiar? And the best part about these trends is that they’re perfect transitional pieces to take us from winter to spring, almost as good as finding gold at the end of the rainbow!

Vancouver Fashion Jobs – The Trendy Bird

Thursday, March 15th, 2012

Fly away with the style season’s most prominent animal influence – the bird. From the ready-to-wear runways of Kenzo, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Commuun, the fashion world is alive with swans, finches, doves and the like for Spring/Summer 2012, and they are high style through and through. In small, delicate doses, all-over prints and dramatic artistic renderings this trend is a fresh and chic choice for fashionistas looking to add a unique point of visual interest to their looks and reflect the most popular designs from the runways. After all, birds of a stylish feather flock together.
